@Diane – glad you liked the episode! And yes, I can see how tracking can tell you when it’s time to move on to the next book…

I appreciated hearing the different perspectives on reading in your podcast and am looking forward to cozy book season.

I was also surprised that neither of you used Goodreads, especially for the tracking aspects. I do use it as a means to find books but my primary usage of the site is as a repository of all the books I want to read – the list is long. I love the ability to take a picture of the book when I walk by it in an airport or bookshop and have it automatically save into my To Read list. I also use it for tracking – how many books/pages am I reading a year, and like Sarah and her page tracking, it helps me really “see” when I am stuck on a book that perhaps I should move back to the To Read or remove from the bookshelf all together.

I personally have multiple books in multiple variations – Audio, Kindle, Hard Copy – fiction & non-fiction – in progress at any given time. I love the flexibility of having a book with me at any given time and the ease of using a Kindle when traveling or at appointments. However, I also still love a good physical book with a blanket, a fireplace, and a cup of tea. ♥

Thanks for the inspiration to read in bed this morning instead of scrolling.

@Bonnie- thanks! So glad you’re enjoying the show. I haven’t gotten into Goodreads personally for finding books, but I know a lot of people have found my books there, which I really appreciate.

Either to track what you’ve read or just to organize a TBR list. You’re inspired me to try and fit reading into more timeslots in my day. Love your show!
