Actually, if you’re going to wire it, you’re much better off waiting because the wiring tape needs to be continuous (or at least, it did back in the 90s!) It’s so fun that you’re going to do this project with your daughter. My first grader is reading The Borrowers out loud to me these days, and I’m hoping she will catch the miniatures bug from it. She’s a detail-oriented person so I think the 1″=1′ concept would really appeal to her.
