It’s definitely an adventure for me as I am not a strong skier (learned as an adult) and still quite nervous. So i think of that as my weekly big adventure (I am now comfortable on the green run! I even tried a Black diamond this weekend and it was okay – not great, but i made it!) We are coming to the end of the ski season here so I need to give more thought to this over the next week or so about how to build in a bigger adventure – particularly as this time from March to June seems to get filled with kid activities.
On the small adventure, I do find that going back to the office a few days a week has helped open up my mind to more possibilities. Just being out more reminds me that i live in a place with lots of fun things to do. I even purposely don’t bring lunch so i have to get up from my desk at some point and I try some new foods around my office building.

The organizers rented trolleys for us to take park and there was a live band, food trucks, games for kids and face painter. All in a very contained park and it was an adventure because it was from 6-9pm at night! Lots of string lights!

Little Adventure- the Thursday prep meeting for the party above and a special dinner a la drive thru. Or, pool party with the in-laws & pie for no reason the day after.

It was really lovely, and for some reason, I didn’t ever think of booking a swim slot in another place as a possibility? We caught up and chatted, wore out the kids, and had a nice lunch.
And a little adventure – going to a pub quiz with work city pals.
