I got a few strange looks last week myself. I grabbed half an hour while a child was at a sports lesson to take a hike and photograph some wild flowers on a verge by a busy road that I kept driving past and not having time to stop and appreciate. Maybe I looked odd crouching on the pavement by a roundabout. But I was happy with the photos and really enjoyed showing them to my daughter after her lesson.

I have decided one of the joys of middle-age is not letting self-consciousness steal my joy!

There were honeysuckle vines near my elementary school, and we would revel in the bouquet! I haven’t found any near my house.

I just wanted to stop by and let you know that the twins arrived a couple of weeks ago. We’re all in love and adjusting to being a family of seven.
