@Carrie- the gory details…it winds up being 3. Nursing bra, plus two sports bras over it. Nothing moves!

I was just planning on asking this same question! What to do about the boobs!? I know another mom runner (she has had 6 breastfed babies) who wears bras that cost around $100 to get the support she needs for her F cups. Some women wear two sports bras. I imagine I would have to if I didn’t want to put an eye out while running!

Twin Mom: I am breastfeeding. Like you, I’m 5’5 and around 125, but I only have one baby, so that may be a key difference! But I have a few things I’ve found helpful: feed the baby (babies) right before you go. I fed on one side and pumped on the other for the first few months, but since you have two, you wouldn’t have that issue. I also realized, even before pregnancy, that I was never going to find a running bra, no matter how well-constructed, that would really work for large breasts and for miles of running. But wearing 2 — even 2 cheap ones — seems to work well. Right now I wear 3: a nursing bra, then two sports bras over that. So far, so good! Hope that helps. Congrats on the twins!

I’ve found breastfeeding twins and jogging incompatible. No jogging bra holds my pre-pregnancy DD size breasts in place. (and no, I’m not huge, I’m 5′ 5″ and weigh 125)
