I live in Florida now, but I love that you did this trip on the spur of the moment and filled it the way you did. It makes me think that some things are more do-able than they might at first seem. @Harmony- Sand beach is good! We did Gorham mountain 5 years ago with a 4-year-old and 23-month-old (in a backpack). So that might be a possibility. And of course Jordan Pond is flat around. I hope it’s a wonderful trip!

We are headed up to Maine in August. I am so excited to get away, enjoy the scenery, and eat some lobster and wild blueberries. We are going to spend a few days in Acadia with the kids, so no long hikes, but should still be able to take in the sights in small amounts at a time. Sand beach is always a good destination for the kids.
