According to a new report, the global coding bootcamp market is projected to grow by a CAGR of 18% and increase to a $3.66 billion value by 2027. Full-time bootcamps are expected to grow faster because students prefer "the full-time course because they prefer to learn in an environment where everyone else is learning alongside them."
Python continues to be in demand
According to the same report, Python was the most popular coding bootcamp language in 2021. Python will continue to be prevalent in 2023 because of the data-driven needs of today's organizations.
"The increasing proclivity of enterprises toward data-intensive business strategies, rising demand for python due to its ability to provide high-quality, rapid, accurate, real-time data, and rising demand for pre- and post-deployment services are driving the segment's growth."
More universities partner with bootcamps
Businesses aren't the only entities finding ways to take advantage of the popularity and training of coding bootcamps. There was a 174% increase in partnerships between colleges and bootcamps in 2021, and the overall interest in partnerships snowballed from 2020 to 2022. All signs point to more university and coding bootcamp partnerships forming in 2023.
Bootcamps continue to help a post-COVID world
According to CourseReport, coding bootcamps will continue to support both remote learning and remote work. Additionally, they expect coding bootcamps to continue to rebuild the post-COVID economy, primarily through their partnerships with workforce development boards.
